We know the importance of building a strong network. We know how important it is to meet people doing similar jobs - even your competitors.

That's why we created our Meet Ups. These are for marketing professionals, sales teams and anyone else who wants to join us - as long as you work in the mortgage market you are welcome.

These are simple, informal networking sessions with meet ups in Manchester, London and Cardiff.

Marketing Meet Up FAQs

Who Is Leading The Meet-Ups

The meet-ups are a collaboration between Jeff Knight antd Phil Green (Marketing Director at Pepper Money) and will be led by Phil who is a seasoned marketing leader passionate about nurturing the next generation of talent in the mortgage industry.

 

Where Are They Taking Place?

London, Cardiff and Manchester. We may add venues in the future.

How Long Do They Last?

Typically a couple of hours but you can stay longer, or leave whenever you like; they are informal

What Format Do They Take?

They vary, but typically we try and have a central meeting point and a guest speaker. We then go for a walk, sometimes guided, as this is a great way of meeting people easily. Then we end up at a bar. 

What Do We Discuss?

Marketing. Mortgages. And everything thereafter!!


How Many People Attend?

The ideal group size: 8–15 participants per session (small enough for conversation, big enough for diverse perspectives).

Are There Any Ground Rules?

 

  • Be respectful and inclusive

  • Chatham House Rule: what’s shared in the room stays in the room

  • No sales pitches – this is about people, not products

  • Keep it supportive and honest – no judgement
     

Does It Cost Anything?

Nope. But we won't stop you buying a drink for anyone you meet.​
