Two Workshops?
Your Choice
Email Cut-Through comes in two workshops:
-
Workshop One gives you instant wins - we'll use the six pillars to find exactly where your messaging is losing cut-through, and fix it.
-
Workshop Two is optional, and takes things further - focused on segmentation and personalisation, so you're sending the right message to the right person, at the right time.
Most people start with Workshop One alone, coming back for Workshop Two a few months later, once Workshop One's actions have been put into practice.
Both workshops are run in person. Duration depends on your team structure, but typically it's a half-day to full day.
Why Cut Through Matters
Cut-through isn't about sending more emails.
It's about sending ones that are relevant, clear and distinct. They are delivered with consistency, get remembered and build trust by being credible.
Getting greater cut through puts you front of mind. It makes other activites work better. It gives you an edge over the competition and makes marketing more effective. Getting cut through really matters.
Introducing
The Six Pillars Of
Cut Through
Getting cut-through doesn't happen by magic, or by simply writing copy you think will work. It happens by building on six pillars - the same ones we focus on throughout the workshop, giving you a clear, structured view of exactly where your emails stand.
-
Clarity - is it instantly understood, or does it take effort to decode?
-
Distinction - could this have come from any lender, or is it unmistakably you?
-
Memorability - would someone still remember it tomorrow?
-
Relevance - does it reflect what brokers actually care about, or just what you want to say?
-
Credibility - does it feel trustworthy, or promotional?
-
Consistent - how consistent are the messages and deliver of these?
How Does It Work?
Before the workshop, you can send over a handful of recent emails, plus any performance data you have - opens, clicks, engagement.
This gives us a clear picture to shape the day around your business.

We meet for a half or full day, scoring your emails against the six pillars - explained in more detail on the day - to build your Cut-Through Scorecard.

We score together. You'll be doing a self-assessment, not just receiving an outside opinion - because seeing it for yourselves is what makes the findings stick.

We cross-reference your scores with your actual open and click-through rates, for a full, 360-degree view of what's really working.
The Cost
Workshop One

Half day: £900 + VAT
Full day: £1,250 + VAT, plus expenses

Workshop Two (optional)

An additional £800 + VAT

Every workshop fee includes reviewing your emails and data in advance, as well as the workshop itself - so there's nothing extra to plan for beyond the day.

Exact pricing depends on the length of workshop that suits your team, and will be confirmed as part of a formal proposal.

FAQs
Do I need existing data or performance metrics?
Helpful, but not essential - we can still score your messaging and structure without them. Is this only for one email, or a whole campaign? Either - bring what's most useful, a single email or a short series.
What happens after the session?
You keep the scorecard and action list - implementation from there is up to you, or we can discuss ongoing support if useful.
How is this different from the Mental Availability Assessment?
Cut-Through is fast and tactical — fixing what's in front of you now. Mental Availability is the strategic work behind why brokers think of you at all. Many clients start with Cut-Through and move into Mental Availability once they see what it uncovers.

What about a NDA?
With this type of project, we only work under NDA to ensure everything is confidential.
